This video features pictures and film clips of TITANIC's maiden voyage into history. Why? This piece of music, "Songe d'Automne", is one of three leading contenders in a debate that will never be settled: what was the band playing as the ship sank. Some survivors claim it was this music, which the band leader himself said he would play as his last song. While history may remember it always as "Nearer My God To Thee", "Songe d'Automne" has a special resonance with me. It's downright ghostly.
