This was the first New Age piece of music I wrote when I got my brand new synthesizer in 1999. The music almost created itself. To me, it speaks of the pulse of life and death, of complacency and inertia. It contains a dance-like groove flanked by the constant heart monitor, keeping the pulse of all four aspects and the constant duality. This isnt meant to be dark, although it may seem to come from shadows. The shadows themselves may have given Pulse 4 birth; shadows of thoughts and feelings, shadows of things unrealized.
